Awards

In 2024, I along with some of my colleagues received awards during the 2YSIDA 2024-25 Creative Contest. This contest recognizes many different athletic departments across the nation.

I also received first place in the 2021-22 2YSIDA (Two-Year College Sports Information Directors of America) Publications Contest for creative writing for a piece on former Northeast baseball player Maxim Fullerton. The story can be found on the screenshot or by clicking the following link:

Within Northeast Athletics, I organize all of our photoshoots and media days that we have. I work with our student-athletes, coaches, photographer, creative manager and athletic director to carry out my vision. Having strong relationships with all of the individuals involved is very important for my process and to maximize our results. Below you can see all of our athletic posters from the 2023-24 year that are on the wall in my office. Myself, Creative Manager Brain Headlee and Athletic Director Jerrett Mills were awarded sixth in the nation by College Sports Communicators for the volleyball poster below.
